Once the delivery time has passed, the card is closed off to signing because it's considered in the hands of the recipient just like a physical card. We do this is for two reasons: 1. If someone signed after the delivery time, the message may not get read because the recipient already opened the card. 2. If we did allow it, we'd have to notify the recipient every time a new message is added to the card. This would create additional emails to the recipient and may be flagged as spam.
The card creator can extend the delivery date/time anytime before the card is sent by following the instructions below:
- Click on My Account on the top right of the screen (must be logged in).
- Then click on the Settings button to the right of the recipient's name. If you're on a mobile phone or tablet, scroll to the right to see the Settings column.
- Change the delivery date to a new date/time and click Save Changes.
